About Us

Vasantrao Kale Mahavidyalaya has been established in June 2000, at Dhoki Dist. Osmanabad. Dhoki is a small village near the religious place Ter known for Sant Goroba Kaka Temple and Terna Sugar Factory the oldest sugar factory in Marathwada region. The population of Village Dhoki is approximately twenty thousand. The majority of the population is from rural, tribal and socially and economically backward section of the society.

The college is situated on the state highway and connected by roadways and broad-gauge railway. The college is affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and run by Kisan Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Borgaon (Kale) Tq. & Dist. Latur. The mission statement of the education society is ‘Samanyasathi Shikshan’ (Education for Common people). The institution runs educational institutes from K.G. to U.G.

The college has been started with the objectives to propagate education among rural masses, and to prepare the rural students to face the global challenges and to create career awareness and to develop responsible citizens for the nation.

The college caters the educational needs of the students belonging to the rural and tribal area. The college implements various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities effectively for holistic development of the rural students. The college works for the upliftment of students, their family, society and nation and to contribute universal brotherhood. We are committed to make the rural life qualitative as it was dreamt by our father of nation Mahatma Gandhi.
